Vintage Elgin movement from 1919

Case:
Steel with Convex sapphire crystal front, diamond coated glass display back. Water Resistant to 50 meters (150 feet)

Dimensions:
44mm diameter, 14mm thick, 52 mm end to end. Water resistant to 50 meters.

Movement:
15 jewel Elgin vintage American pocket watch hunters case movement. Manufactured in 1919. Bimetallic balance wheel, gold jewel cups, Fancy Regulator.

Dial:
Antique Elgin, enamel, mint condition, “Montgomery” Railroad dial. Montgomery dials were specially produced and patented for railroad service. The Montgomery Safety Dial was invented by Henry S. Montgomery, the General Watch and Clock Inspector from 1896 to 1923 for the Santa Fe Railway. The Montgomery Dial featured an outer track with individual minutes numbered from 1 to 60.
Antique blued steel Elgin hands with red enamel tips for readability.
