Rpaige “DuoFace” with antique Elgin from 1906

Case:
Steel with sapphire crystal front and sapphire exhibition back. Can be worn either dial (face) side up, or reversible to wear movement side up. Strap quickly, and easily reverses, using “Quick Release” spring bars. “Articulated Lugs” which hinge and reverse to perfectly balance the watch worn either way.
Water resistant to 50 meters.

17 jewel Elgin antique American pocket watch hunters case movement. Manufactured in 1906. Bimetallic balance wheel, gold jewel cups. Fancy regulator, gold timing screws

Dial:
Antique Elgin enameled dial with “art deco”style arabic numbers. Red hand-enameled “Cathedral” style hands with luminous tips. Antique blued steel second hand.

American manufactured watches were fitted with porcelain dials from 1852 to the 1930s. Made from different colored ground glass that was applied to a copper disk and fired in a kiln at high temperature.
